Popularly known as Nimi, Favour Adebayo operates at the intersection of defense analysis, machine learning, and peace technology. Her work is grounded in the view that durable security depends on rigorous analysis, institutional fluency, and technically sound decision-support systems—not advocacy alone. Her background spans justice and conflict institutions, applied data work, and emerging defense-relevant ML. She began in dispute resolution as an ADR intern at the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice and later undertook field-based peace initiatives, including an independent mission with Journey House Actions in Rwanda. These experiences inform her focus on how conflicts are managed, escalated, and resolved in practice.Currently, she is building deep technical capacity across data analysis and applied machine learning, with particular interest in strategic assessment, early warning, and decision-making under uncertainty. Through work at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and independent product development, she translates complex data into usable tools under real institutional constraints. Recognized as a UN Foundation Young Global Leader in 2024, she integrates security-aware analysis and systems thinking across defense, policy, and technology.
